EMPLOYEE INJURED IN A TRENCH CAVE-IN
Investigation abstract
On January 15, 1990, an employee was excavating a trench to install a drain syst em and to waterproof the wall of a residential house when the walls of the trenc h (23 in wide 6.5 to 7 ft deep and 15 ft long) fell in on him. He received contu sions on the lower half of his body from the cave-in.
