EMPLOYEE INJURED FINGERS FROM A PUNCH PRESS
Investigation abstract
On January 15, 1990, an employee was operating a punch press when he attempted t o remove a part that was stuck in the die with a screwdriver. The punch press ac tivated during his attempt to extract the part and the press came down on his ri ght hand amputating the first two fingers. His injuries required hospitalization .
