EMPLOYEE KILLED WHEN CAUGHT BETWEEN CRANE AND COUNTERWEIGHT

Investigation abstract

Employee #1 was standing on the cab platform, within the swing radius of the cra ne counterweight. The crane swung to the rear, causing the counterweight to swin g toward the cab. Employee #1 was caught between the counterweight and the crane cab and killed.
