Employee crushed by manlift

Investigation abstract

On December 6, 2006, employee was using a grove manlift MZ90 to reach the access door on the underside of a highway post tention box grider bridge. The operator raised the manlift basket and caught his head between the top of the guard rail and the underside of the bridge surface resulting in the head being crushed res ulting in his death.
