EMPLOYEE DIES OF HEART ATTACK OR STROKE
Investigation abstract
Employee #1 was working in the woods doing logging work which consisted of cutti ng standing trees and cutting limbs after tree had been cut down. Employee #1, w ho was on his second day for this contractor, died of natural causes. The corone r reported that it was either a heart attack or a stroke. The heat was at 95 deg rees and high humidity of 86 percent. There was no breeze which created a heat i ndex of 106 degrees. Water was available on site for all employees.
