EMPLOYEE CRUSHED BY CRANE FRAME
Investigation abstract
At approximately 2:03 p.m. on November 14, 1989, Employee #1 was using a cutting torch to dismantle an old crane's five ton counter weight by making several cut s in the truck's frame which supported the five ton counter weight. Employee #1 was killed while working in a crouched position. Apparently he was cutting some of the frame when the five-ton counter weight shifted and fell on top of him. Th ere were no witnesses to the accident.
