Employee dies after fall from tank turret

Investigation abstract

Employee #1 was working on an army tank turret when he fell 8 ft 2 in. to the co ncrete floor, resulting in massive head injuries. Employee #1 was transported by airlift to the Methodist Center Hospital in Birmingham, AL, where he died at 10 :45 a.m. on March 24, 1990.
