Employee's fingers amputated in ripsaw
Investigation abstract
At approximately 2:30 p.m. on April 6, 1990, Employee #1, age 19, of Valley Cust om Cabinets and Millwork, was ripping lumber on a hand-fed circular ripsaw when his left hand struck the unguarded saw blade. His index and middle fingers were amputated, and he sustained multiple injuries to his thumb and ring finger.
