BURN - ELECTRICAL FAULT IN METERING EQUIPMENT
Investigation abstract
An electrical worker was working alone on 480-volt, three-phase metering equipme nt. He was performing a phase angle test. An electrical fault occurred, and the ensuing electric arc burned the employee. He received flash burns to his eye and first- and second-degree burns to his right hand and wrist. He was hospitalized for his injuries.
