EMPLOYEE INJURED WHEN BUILDING ROLLS OVER HIM IN HIGH WIND

Investigation abstract

While pouring a sidewalk for a building measuring 30 ft by 160 ft, Employee #1 w as checking the area for forms to the sidewalk. A very high wind (in excess of 6 5 mph according to the Weather Bureau), caused the building to roll over onto Em ployee #1, crushing his hand, breaking his thigh and shoulder bones, and crackin g two ribs. He was hospitalized for his injuries.
