EMPLOYEE KILLED WHEN FALLING FROM ROOF
Investigation abstract
On January 19, 1990, an employee was re-surfacing a six-story high roof using a Garlock Cutter high pushed (manual) cutter with motor driven blades to remove ol d roofing. While operating the cutter near the edge of the roof without any fall protection, he stumbled over a small 8 in. high paraphet lost his balance, and fell to the ground. He was killed.
