EMPLOYEE FATALLY CRUSHED BY ROAD COMPACTOR
Investigation abstract
Employee #1 had been running a Bomag road compactor (Model Number BW142-pob). Th e employee stopped the machine on a slight incline, put machine in neutral and j umped off the machine as it began to topple over. Employee #1 stumbled and the t op of roll bar struck and pinned him. The machine, weighing in excess of five to ns, caused fatal crushing injuries.
