EMPLOYEE CATCHES LOWER ARM IN MOVING PARTS OF DOUGH MIXER
Investigation abstract
Employee #1, who worked for Chun King Corporation, was cleaning a noodle dough m ixing machine. Employee #1 activated the mixer switch with his left hand, while reaching into the mixer with his right hand to brush some flour off the side. On e of the mixer paddles struck his right hand above the wrist, and punctured his lower arm, fracturing it. The mixer stopped after Employee #1 was caught in the moving parts. He was hospitalized with a fractured lower arm.
