Event description

Employee injured when pinned by wall against foundation

Investigation abstract

A crew of construction workers was installing approximately 4,000 to 4,500 lb pr ecast sections of concrete to the foundation of a single home. The first and sec ond sections were not bolted at the top and bottom. During the installation of t he third section, the wall broke loose and pinned Employee #1 against the side o f the foundation hole. He suffered multiple injuries and was hospitalized.
