Final narrative
A maintenance employee was completing inspections of the battery charging unit. He was in a caged area that elevated him three levels high, approximately 15 feet from the floor. He was lowering himself and believed he was on the ground level. He raised the guardrail bar and stepped out, falling 4-5 feet to the concrete floor below. The employee suffered a back injury and was admitted to the hospital.
