Final narrative
An employee was loading chickens from a chicken farm onto transportation trucks. The employee was pulling a full cart of chickens down the aisle inside the chicken house. As the cart rolled over a section of the steel grating floor, the section became dislodged and fell. The employee and cart fell approximately 10 feet through the hole to the ground. The employee suffered a broken left hand and required surgery.
