Final narrative
The employee was placing material from the back of the truck onto a door that was lying across the forks of a forklift. When he stepped backwards, he stepped onto the edge of the door, lost his balance and fell to the concrete 4 to 5 feet below. The employee sustained a compound fracture to the leg and injured his foot and ankle.

The employee sustained fractures to the right side of the pelvis, elbow, and a left ring fingertip as well as injuries to the right wrist and bruising to the back and stomach.
