Final narrative
On August 1, 2016, at approximately 10:00 a.m., an employee was driving a stand-up rider forklift at a cold storage facility. As he was turning to exit the freezer, his glove became caught in the steering wheel and he lost control of the forklift. He was thrown from the operators' platform and became pinned between the forklift and a bollard post located at the freezer door opening, fracturing his pelvis.
