An employee was picking up trash and putting it on the back of a truck. The employee rode on the back of the truck holding the trash while a coworker drove the truck to a dumpster a block away. The employee fell from the back of the truck to the road, suffering a head laceration and four broken ribs. The employee was hospitalized.
