On May 8, 2017, at approximately 11:15 a.m., an employee was attempting to unload cyanuric chloride when the material became airborne and covered the employee's respirator mask, obstructing his vision. In an attempt to clear the mask, it was rinsed with water. The cyanuric chloride reacted with the water and became acidic. He removed his mask and suffered eye and skin irritation as well as breathing difficulties. He was later hospitalized for a chemical burn to the lungs.

An employee was passing through a building when she suffered an allergic reaction to a cinnamon air freshener. The employee began to feel dizzy and ill, ultimately becoming unresponsive. The employee was hospitalized.
