An employee was operating a conveyor that produces bathroom tissue rolls. During the production process, the conveyor became misaligned and required adjustment. The employee was trying to make the adjustment when his right finger contacted a push plate (part of the conveyor belt) and was caught between the plate and the conveyor housing. His fingertip was amputated.
