On March 19, 2018, at approximately 9:30 a.m., an employee was inspecting the hoist wire rope on the drum of an 85-ton crane. While standing on the crane deck, the employee slipped, fell, and grabbed the drum, which pinched the employee's right index fingertip, resulting in an amputation.
