An employee was untangling the whip line and main line of a crawler crane. The employee finished untangling the crane lines and the crane began to move. The main line caught the employee's hand, causing an amputation to the left index finger past the cuticle, an amputation to the left middle finger halfway into the nail bed, and a fractured ring finger.
