Final narrative
On 3-11-19, around 8 p.m., an employee was moving a sheet of 1/2" plate from a water-cutting machine using an overhead crane. He tried to transfer the plate from the overhead crane to the forklift by placing the plate on its edge on the floor and moving the forklift close enough to switch the plate clamp from the overhead crane to the forklift. He lost control of the plate, which fell and struck his left leg. He was hospitalized with two fractures and ankle dislocations.
