On December 26, 2019, an employee was using an air-powered grinder to remove slag from an 875-pound steel part, suspended over a wooden pallet with a permanent lifting magnet. The part slid off the magnet from 40 inches above the floor and struck the employee, causing fractures to the employee's left-side pelvis region. The employee was hospitalized.
