At 12:10 p.m. on July 20, 2020, a city mail carrier was delivering a parcel at a front door when a dog charged through the screen door and began to chase him. As he ran from the dog, he fell and his head struck the curb. He suffered a concussion and lost consciousness and was hospitalized.
