On 1/4/2022 at 11:55 p.m., an employee completed the plating of the second side of a floor truss while working as an assembler on a floor line. The employee reached toward the top plate of an assembler to correct an alignment issue when the assembler actuated the air valve and closed the jig. The employee's gloved left hand was on top of the truss and the jig rail closed on his index and middle fingertips, resulting in amputations.
