Final narrative
An employee was checking a stranding machine that kept lighting up red, indicating an issue with the wire path. He wanted to see if the red light would come back on after he moved some wires around. He indicated he jogged the machine and the red light came on, so he moved the other detector and jogged the machine once again. He then checked the main speed reducer belt while jogging the machine. His glove caught on the belt teeth and pulled his left hand toward the pulley, resulting in a partial amputation of the third finger and a degloving of the fourth finger.
