Final narrative
At approximately 8:30 p.m. EST on 1/28/2022, an employee noticed some "heavy stock" coming through the product being run on the line and notified the Machine Tender. The Machine Tender proceeded to the wet end and performed a visual inspection of both the forming and saturator sections. The Machine Tender saw some stock (microfiber) coating an outside roll on the saturator section of the machine. The Machine Tender crawled under the machine frame to gain access to the roll and started to remove the fiber off the roll. Toward the back of the roll, the employee's hand and arm were pulled into the nip point formed by the saturator wire and roll. The employee's arm was fractured.
