An employee was walking through a hydraulic fracturing work site performing manual fueling operations. As they were walking, the employee slipped on a chemical known as SAFE-BFH-2 (High pH Buffer) and fell to the ground. Their right lower back, bilateral legs, and bilateral lower hip areas contacted the chemical and the employee was hospitalized for chemical burns.
