Final narrative
An employee had just climbed on top of a ladder fire truck to change the aerial hydraulic return filter. He tripped on the base of the turntable and fell forward into a 55-gallon oil tank. As the employee went to catch himself, he fell eight feet to the concrete floor and landed on his right side. The employee sustained three broken ribs and sprained their knee and ankle.
