An employee was performing a post-assembly inspection of a tower crane. The employee was located on the counter-jib inspecting the trolley cable as the trolley was traveling out. When the trolley reached the jib end limit switch, the trolley stopped. The employee's right little fingertip became caught between the trolley cable and the spooled cable on the trolley drum, resulting in amputation.
