On June 20, 2024, at approximately 9:00 PM, an employee was descending a ladder from a cooling tower to a corner pillar. Upon reaching the corner pillar, the employee attempted to step off the pillar onto an 18-inch pipe adjacent to the cooling tower, fell onto the large pipes to the left of the 18-inch pipe. The employee was hospitalized with a partially collapsed lung and fractured ribs on their left side.
