A temporary employee was working at the end of a front end module line. On this line, employees use an air-assisted lift to move parts; the lift has a cylinder that opens and closes when the lift is activated. The employee's finger was inside the cylinder when it closed and their finger was crushed. The employee was hospitalized with a partially amputated finger.
