An employee was placing masonry stone around bridge abutments. A stone measuring 1 by 4 feet was being placed on the forks of a forklift truck when the forks made contact with the wall, and the stone moved. The employee went to stabilize the stone, and the stone came down and crushed his fingers, resulting in fractures.
