Final narrative
An employee was dismounting the operator seat of a digger truck and descending the ladder when he stepped onto a utility pole and grabbed onto the hand on the cover of the operator's control station. The operator's control station top flipped open and he lost his balance and fell from the truck to the ground. The employee sustained a dislocated left shoulder and a fractured left tibia near his ankle.
