Final narrative
An electrician was sent to troubleshoot a usage meter located outside a mall. When he arrived at the disconnect box, the device cover was open. One fuse holder was open with a fuse laying at the bottom of the disconnect box. He verified one of the phases was not operational. While checking for voltage with his multimeter, an arc blast occurred. He was hospitalized with second-degree burns to his hands.
