On [REDACTED] she noticed some swelling and shooting pain at her right thumb and palm wrist area. She also noticed some possible bruising. She made an entry on the departmental minor injury log and went back to work thinking it might subside over her upcoming 3 day weekend. [REDACTED] the discomfort continued swelling went down slightly but bruising was still apparent. She asked her lead if she could report this to Safety. Injury report was established upon report to Safety Dept.
