He was marking the die on the press brake. The press brake was activated by 2nd employee not realizing that 1st employees hand was on the die. 2nd employee turned to check the parts position saw 1st employees hand on the die and let off the pedal but not before 1st employees hand was partially crushed by the punch. The machine auto returned releasing 1st employees right hand.
