What happened
Employee and a partner were unloading a 55 gallon barrell of DEF fluid from the bed of a pickup truck into the bucket of the loader. The partner was operating the loader and employee was moving the barrel by hand to the loader. They had the loader bucket about 6 inches lower than the truck tailgate so that the barrell would be easier to get into the bucket. Once the barrell reached the tailgate edge and was off by about 3 inches the weight of the barrell caused the barrell to fall into the loader bucket. The employee didn 't have time to get his hand off of the barrell and is ring finger on my right hand was smashed between the barrell and the loader bucket. Finger required 14 stitches.
