What happened
Dr. [REDACTED] added a diagnostic exploratory case and I was the tech in the room. Upon coming the end of the case he was closing with 0 ethibond on a ct-1. I was holding the S retractors retracting the wound so he can close and the suture was laying on the field in front of me. Dr. [REDACTED] and I was standing opposite of each other and he reached under my hand to get the suture. When he got the suture he turned his hand downward so the point of the needle would be down but when he retrieved it I somehow got stuck by the needle it is an unfortunate accident but I did get stuck by the needle.
