Before the incident
Employee was standing on ground level undoing ratchet strapping on flatbed truck where 80-mil EPDM was being transferred to jobsite in order to be lifted by crane to roofing work.
What happened
Employee had right arm resting on flatbed while undoing straps. A roll that shifted during transport rolled down and made contact with his elbow. The injury could also be attributed to the employee quickly jerking his arm back to avoid the role after it made contact leading to sprain.
