What happened

EE was cleaning room 417 when she noticed the shower door was stuck. She attempted to get the door unstuck and during the attempt the door shattered and glass shards fell onto her. She sustained a cut just under and behind her right ear. The situation was reported initially to the housekeeping supervisor then the housekeeping supervisor notified the front desk. The room was placed out of order at [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] the Chief Engineer recommended we call her and strongly recommend she seek medical attention immediately. She responded in Spanish to a bilingual colleague that she felt fine and preferred to seek medical attention on [REDACTED] instead of [REDACTED] the day of the incident. EE was advised to bring documentation to management from her treatment on her return to the property.
