Driving Van on vessel

During vessel operations the assigned traffic longshoreman ( [REDACTED] with WF# - 85612 ) was instructed to direct big vans to the lower decks of the vessel and the minivans up towards the upper decks of the vessel due to height restrictions on the upper decks. As driver ( [REDACTED] with WF # - 84332 ) was bringing drivers to discharge units he was instructed by the assigned traffic person ( [REDACTED] with WF# - 85612 ) who was previously instructed to send the big vans to lower decks and minivans to the upper decks to proceed to the upper decks. On his way to the upper decks the van did not fit on the deck 11 and it scrapped the ceiling of the vessel resulting in scraping the roof of the van. No drivers were reported hurt at the time of the incident. At the time of the drug test being administered driver ( [REDACTED] with WF # - 84332) claimed to have injured his elbow from the impact. Every other driver inside the van returned to work with out any problems.
