Before the incident
Stopped for restroom break before responding to passenger request
What happened
Employee had responded to a [REDACTED] passenger request. Before picking up the passenger employee indicated that he had stopped for a restroom break. While exiting the van and walking across the parking lot to access the restroom employee noticed an object laying on the ground. Thinking it could be of value to someone he bent over to pick up what he thought was air pods. When he bent down to retrieve the object employee suddenly lost his balance and fell backward striking his head against the pavement. Employee indicated that there wasn 't anything that contributed to his fall in terms of a hazard. Employee stated that bending down and suddenly raising up caused the blood rush to his head causing him to loose balance (low blood pressure low blood sugar etc.). Employee indicated the he did not loose consciousness and was able to contact his supervisor. Once his supervisor arrived on site it was determined the best course of action was to call and ambulance for immediate treatment given
