What happened
While lifting the grate off the end of the pipe employee reported feeling a sudden pop in their back during the lifting process. This pop was accompanied by immediate lower back pain on left side. While walking back to the truck the employee became light-headed and decided to lay down by the side of the truck. After a [REDACTED] the employee got up and into the truck. The other employee drove them back to public works where assistant manager drove the employee to Woodwinds Hospital.
