removing brake caliper from university vehicle.
What happened
Employee was packaging up a defective brake caliper (new) for swap with the vendor. Employee was atempting to trouble shoot the old caliper. While attempting to expand the piston the employees left middle finger was caught between piston and caliper frame. Impact was below the lower knuckle. Finger nail and fingertip were impacted and suffered lacerations
