What happened
Employee was placing a bundle of sheet onto a skid using an overhead crane. The skid was on the floor due to the lack of space on the packing tables. During the process of opening the sheet lifter the employee had his left hand resting on the pillow block bearing that holds the shaft in place that turns to open and close the sheet lifter. When the material came out of the sheetlifter onto the skid the employees pinky finger was in the area between the wheel used to open and close sheetlifter and
