The employee was stripping concrete forms for a concrete foundation before he began feeling dizzy.

What happened

The employee was stripping concrete forms when he began to feel dizzy. He reported his symptoms to his Superintendent and was moved to a shaded area by his Superintendent. The Superintendent had the employee remove his top layer of clothing at theis time and provided the employee with some electrolytes to drink with regular water and also given mineral water with a small amount of salt in it. After approximately 30 minutes in the shade the employee was then moved and placed into an air conditioned Company truck. After about an hour in the air conditioned truck the employee told his Superintendent that he was feeling better. At [REDACTED] when the crew was leaving the jobsite the employee began cramping up in his stomch and legs and was taken to an Urgent Care by his Superintendent. Once at Urgent Care the medical professionals there decided the employee needed to be transported to the ER of the nearest hospital by ambulance where the employee stayed over night for observation and IV fl
