Before the incident
Employee was unloading a rollover bar for a street sweeper off of a pallet and into a roll-off garbage container.
What happened
The employee locked out his elbows as he pushed the part up and over into the container he said he felt a pop in his right bicep area. He said after that he started to feel nauseous and was having cold sweats.
Injury or illness
We took the employee to our occupational medicine doctor who referred us to a specialist. The specialist diagnosed him with a torn right bicep and later surgically repaired.
